MCS and allergies

Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS)

A sensitivity to pollutants, such as solvents, fragrances, perfumes, gases, diesel, smoke, VOC's and other chemicals. MCS is a woldwide epidemic and not easy to diagnose. Many people with MCS know they have reactions when exposed to certain elements, though it was only recently that a term was available to classify their illness.

Signs of MCS include stinging and burning of eyes, sneezing, headaches, loss of focus and memory, sore throat, cough, rashes, stomach problems, muscle pain, extreme fatigue and problems breathing. Even products labeled "fragrance free" may be an issue, since many commercial products have chemicals added to them to fool your brain so you can't smell the fragrance (funny that!)
